Position Summary:
The Account Manager owns the client relationship. The Account Manager is a metrics-driven, client-oriented professional responsible for initiating and presenting performance metrics to clients, ensuring that the company’s products are being employed optimally by clients, and strengthening the business relationship between clients and the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
• Proactively communicate with customer to ensure shared understanding of value derived from ChoiceStream products.
• Acquire deep expertise in ChoiceStream product capabilities, with the ability to explain those capabilities to our customers.
• Monitor customer success, measure progress, communicate status and quantitative results to the client’s and ChoiceStream’s senior management on a regular basis.
• Oversee successful implementation of ChoiceStream products and provide ongoing consultation to ensure the customer is achieving maximum value and increasing ROI.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with customer contacts at multiple levels, stay apprised of changes in the customer’s business and educate customers on ChoiceStream product and services offerings.
• Facilitate interactive sessions to understand and gather customer requirements, identify issues, translate into software functionality and provide solutions to business challenges.
• Take responsibility for obtaining customer acceptance of ChoiceStream projects and deliverables and timely invoicing of customers.
• Identify gaps in the company’s product roadmap, envision solutions to the gaps, prioritize the solutions and communicate the vision to Services and Product Development.
Requirements:
This customer-facing role requires a highly motivated, energetic candidate with relationship/account management experience, outstanding communications skills, team leadership abilities, and a passion for using metrics to demonstrate business value to customers.
Qualifications include:
• 3-6 years experience managing metric-driven software/web services delivery to Fortune 100 companies, preferably to major retailers (ex: Best Buy, Macy’s, HomeDepot.com).
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships with senior-level executives, negotiate with and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Prior industry or domain experience in retail (particularly e-commerce), web analytics, or application software highly desirable.
• Strong quantitative skills, experience and training. Skilled at organizing and presenting quantitative information.
• Professional experience in relationship management and/or software consultancy.
• Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional projects in the implementation of application or analytic software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including customer-facing presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle and experience with software products and technology
• MBA or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of time.
Product Manager
Department: Sales and Marketing
Position Summary:
The Product Manager is a key member of the Marketing leadership team and is responsible for the definition and delivery of ChoiceStream’s market-leading RealRelevance® recommendation and email marketing solutions. This is a hands-on Product Manager role on ChoiceStream’s flagship product line.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
• Drive feature definition, collecting input from multiple sources including customers, prospects, ChoiceStream executives, sales force, development team, and professional services.
• Create and maintain a transparent product roadmap and backlog.
• Create user stories that engineers can successfully implement and test from.
• Evangelize RealRelevance® product to customers, sales, professional services and support teams. Communicate new product features as solutions to business challenges. Leverage trust and rapport with stakeholders to collect product feedback and apply to future initiatives.
• Effectively balance short term needs and long term goals.
• Attend daily scrum meetings with development and participate in acceptance testing and regular bug triages.
• Contribute to RFP responses and consult with the Marketing team to create compelling product collateral, sales kit, trade-shows and promotions.
Requirements:
The job requires a retail-savvy, hands-on product manager with exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to negotiate effectively and influence others. Qualifications include:
• 5+ years of product management experience in the software industry, including creation of product roadmap and backlogs as well as hands-on interaction with development teams to build a product
• Demonstrated track record of successful product management experience in a start-up/small company environment
• Experience in ecommerce, merchandising, personalization or email marketing
• Experience in product marketing, including competitive analysis
• Prior experience succeeding in an Agile development environment
• Prior experience marketing software products to retail (online or brick and mortar) companies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field or equivalent work experience

Software Engineer - Web UI Development
Department: Product Development
Position Summary:
ChoiceStream is seeking a software engineer to develop the Web UI for our recommendation and personalization product. This position will own challenging UI development for such features as self-service reporting and merchandising. In addition, this position will provide expertise to all UI development at ChoiceStream.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
• Develop the Web UI for ChoiceStream’s Real Relevance recommendation and personalization product.
• Partner with Product Management to design the Web UI for ChoiceStream’s recommendation and personalization product.
• Provide Web UI development and design expertise to ChoiceStream’s engineering and services teams.
• Key member of ChoiceStream’s product development team, involved in full product life cycle using Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Key technical contact for training and supporting Sales and Customer Service.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
• 5+ years of software engineering experience using Web technologies.
• 3+ years of Web UI development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Flash, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript and Java. Experience with Ruby-on-Rails is a plus.
• Experience designing Web UI from product requirement and/or user stories.
• Experience using Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Strong oral and verbal communication skills.
• B. Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
Software Quality Engineer
Department: Quality Assurance
Position Summary:
ChoiceStream, Inc. is looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer with strong quality automation and methodology skills who has succeeded in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with product development team members on ChoiceStream’s personalization product line.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Testing in a TDD environment
• Creation of automated functional, system, regression and monitoring tests
• Creation, maintenance and execution of testing checklists
• Defect tracking using JIRA
• Communication via Scrum process.
Requirements:
The role demands focus, energy and enthusiasm for creating high-quality software products as well as proven success in a startup environment. Candidates must be flexible, adaptable to changing priorities, and self-directed. Qualifications include:
• 5-8 years of professional experience in software quality engineering
• Demonstrated success with automation in a start-up environment
• Must possess experience with software quality engineering methodologies including test plan generation, coverage analysis and automation
• Experience building and modifying automation frameworks
• Experience testing multi-tier web-based applications
• Programming experience in scripting and web languages such as Java, Perl, Bash, Python, Ruby, JavaScript
• An understanding of database concepts and experience writing SQL queries
• Strong communication and debugging skills
• Ability to navigate in Linux environment highly desired
• Prior experience using Selenium, JUnit, JMeter desired
