Steve Johnson
Chief Executive Officer
Steve Johnson is a seasoned executive with a track record of building innovative technologies into successful enterprises. Mr. Johnson started his career by founding Johnson-Grace Company to capitalize on the Internet’s unlimited potential for media distribution. The patented compression technology developed by Johnson-Grace and embedded into America Online’s client, made fast, easy distribution of images, sound and video a reality for millions of consumers and enabled unprecedented access to content. In 1996, AOL purchased Johnson-Grace and made Mr. Johnson Vice President of AOL’s Software and Technology Development division where he brought leading-edge media, telephony and broadcast products to market. In 2000, Mr. Johnson founded ChoiceStream to help consumers navigate through this new era of easy access to virtually infinite choices.Michael Strickman
Chief Technology Officer
Michael Strickman is ChoiceStream’s co-founder and head of the engineering and product development teams. Mike was co-founder and CEO of the companies that developed the BRIEF™ editor (now owned by Borland) and TrackRecord™ project/defect tracking tool (now owned by Compuware/NuMega). Both tools were the leaders in their respective markets, with over 150,000 licenses sold. Before joining ChoiceStream, Mike worked at Compuware Corporation (NuMega Lab), which acquired TrackRecord in 1998. He received an Sc.B. from Brown University in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science with honors, magna cum laude, in 1983. Mark Gallagher
Chief Financial Officer
As ChoiceStream’s Chief Financial Officer, Mark Gallagher is responsible for Finance, Human Resources and Business Operations. Mark has over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance and administration in senior roles within software and telecommunications companies, including M/A COM, Inc. and Parametric Technology Corporation. While at Parametric, Mark managed revenue growth from zero to $400 million and completed a successful IPO.Prior to joining ChoiceStream, Mark was CFO and EVP of Yantra Corporation, a supply chain software company, where he was responsible for the company’s financial and administrative functions and played a key role in the sale of the company to Sterling Commerce, Inc. Mark began his career at Price Waterhouse. He is a C.P.A. in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College.
Doug Feick
Vice President, Business Affairs & General Counsel
Since joining ChoiceStream in 2002, Doug Feick has served in key positions including Vice President of Corporate Development and Operations and VP Finance and Business Affairs as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Doug has over 17 years of professional experience in a variety of leadership and advisory roles in the internet, technology, and software industries. Currently, Doug is responsible for all aspects of ChoiceStream’s business and legal affairs.Prior to joining ChoiceStream, Doug was Vice President, Corporate Development for Yahoo! Inc where he was responsible for managing the company’s domestic and international corporate development activities, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures. Doug was also Associate General Counsel, International for Yahoo!, where he managed Yahoo!’s international legal group. From 1991 to 1997, he practiced corporate law in California focusing on corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions and technology licensing law for emerging and high tech companies. Doug received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Miami University and his law degree from the University of Southern California.
Bob Hiss
Vice President, Professional Services & Product Development
Bob brings 26 years of professional experience to ChoiceStream having performed a broad range of roles including executive management, sales, marketing, support, programming and product management. Prior to ChoiceStream, Bob was founder and CEO of Get Back Software, LLC, maker of Postware™ software, a product he architected and patented. Before Get Back, Bob served as president & CEO of MarketSoft Corporation. Prior to joining MarketSoft, Bob spent 17 years with Andersen Consulting. Bob has a BS in Industrial and Operational Engineering from the University of Michigan.Cheryl Kellond
Vice President, Advertising Business
Cheryl brings fifteen years of experience developing innovative products and launching new businesses to ChoiceStream’s management team. She was previously at Yahoo! as VP of Advertiser Product Marketing where she led product strategy for display and video advertising. While at Yahoo, Cheryl helped develop the new IAB ad formats and helped drive the acquisition of Maven Networks. Prior to Yahoo!, she led the vertical solutions team at Adobe and was in charge of advertising, media, and publishing. Kellond earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.Lori Trahan
Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Since joining ChoiceStream in 2005, Lori Trahan has managed the marketing strategy and corporate communications. She handles all of ChoiceStream’s corporate and product messaging, brand marketing programs, lead generation campaigns, company blog, analyst, press and social media relations. Additionally, she serves as account manager for key retail clients. Lori has 15 years of strategic communications experience having served most of her career on Capitol Hill. She has a BS in comparative regional studies from Georgetown University.Tim Peacock
Vice President, Development
Tim has more than 25 years of experience leading engineering teams in the software industry. He has spent the last decade building engineering teams at three consecutive SaaS startups – Sermo, the world’s largest on-line physicians community; DirectoryM, targeted on-line advertising; and Intranets.com, on-line collaboration services. At those startups, Tim also led creation of product strategy, engineering processes, operational procedures, and performance metrics. Prior to that, Tim spent 8 years at Lotus Development, where he led development of Lotus 1-2-3. Tim is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
