MITX Award Finalist: Online Advertising's Not Just a West Coast Sport Anymore

mitx_2009.jpgWe recently found out that our new display advertising product is a finalist for the 2009 MITX award for excellence in online advertising. Companies were evaluated based technical merit, scalability and innovation among other criteria.

We're really excited about being recognized — especially since our product is a relatively new entry in a pretty competitive marketplace. It gives us a chance to promote the exciting innovations going on in advertising technology out here on the 'other coast,' in Massachusetts. (Forgive me for the 'coast complex' — it stems from my years of playing volleyball on the eastern seaboard.) And most importantly, it gives us the opportunity for a shout out to our team, which has been working on perfecting personalized product recommendations for 9 years now, long before the technology was considered the next big thing.

Kidding aside, we're proud of our team here and the work they've been doing. The award ceremony — where the winners will be announced — is on June 16th in Boston. Wish us luck!
